I believe strongly in the old adage that it takes a village.  My entire adult life I have spent in some form of
                                                                                  community service or other.  Not unlike my passion for the arts, my passion for giving back to my community as
                                                                                  well as to the world at large is a lifelong commitment.

                                                                                   From past work with the Georgia Council on Child Abuse and as a mentor for a fostered teen in college, to the
                                                                                   over 8 years of service I gave to La Leche League International as a group Leader, to the current work I do with
                                                                                   the following organizations, I strive to give back.  I am blessed in my life and feel how vitally important it is to
                                                                                   pass that on to others.  Even in my current work as a doula, the common chord amongst all is giving of myself,
                                                                                   my time and my energy to help others.
